Your Pet's Vacation Destination

With mixed feelings and broken hearts, Rover's Ranch will be closing, effective July 15th, 2007. 

There are many things that lead to this conclusion, not all within our control.  We did a lot of soul searching and praying about this decision and about the things that lead us to question Rover's Ranch's location and existence in the first place and God answered our prayers.

It is said that if you ask God for help and give it all to him that he will answer your prayers ~ but you have to be open to the answer and listen.  Well, we listened and we were open. 

About 2 weeks after requesting the help from above, a CHURCH approached us about purchasing our property.  Knowing that the barking upset our neighbors and that we had a new baby that was born 3 months early (doing well but born very early), we knew that this was God's way of telling us what to do.  I don't think that we could have asked for much more of a sign than that. 

We loved what we were doing and we know that San Antonio and the surrounding areas need a place like Rover's Ranch, so we have not decided whether or not we will reopen.  At this time, we are going to take a little vacation of our own and enjoy our new daughter.  I can't say enough how much we appreciate everyone's love and support.  Many of you called to give your congratulations on the birth of our daughter, many of you brought gifts for her and many of you think of us and our employees every time you go on a vacation with a wonderful token of appreciation from wherever you visited ~ it is this token of love an appreciation (not to mention taking care of those wonderful furry children) that is going to make closing so difficult.  We were all one big HAPPY family and we loved it that way. 

WE WILL MISS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!

PLEASE KNOW THAT IF WE FIND THE RIGHT PIECE OF PROPERTY THAT IS SECLUDED ENOUGH TO NOT CREATE THE SAME PROBLEMS WE HAD BEFORE, WE WILL CONSIDER REOPENING AND WILL EMAIL EVERYONE IF WE DO.
